The Wildlife Leadership Academy

A 15-year old applicant to The Wildlife Leadership Academy, administered by the Pennsylvania Institute for Conservation Leadership, wrote:

As a beneficiary of the preservation efforts of others, I have a desire to make a contribution of my own. As a steward of the natural resources, I have a responsibility to protect it for future generations. As a mentor to my community, I have a goal to educate and motivate others. As a Pennsylvanian, I wish to honor the legacy of conservationists like Pinchot, Rothrock and Goddard. The Wildlife Leadership Academy would better equip me to do so.
